Empathy
While she might not be the most compassionate person, Nanao can quite easily relate to those close to her and is more than happy to listen to (legitimate) problems and offer her help where she can.

Justice
Nanao values integrity very highly and a broken promise to her is a very serious matter, leading her to lose her trust in and act as though that person is nothing more than a stranger to her until she feels they have repented to her satisfaction.

Respect
Even though it often doesn’t seem as if so, she holds Kyouraku-taichou in great esteem — if not for his work ethic, at least for his abilities as a commander and his dedication to those he cares about.
